La soluzione che ha adottato ha lasciato molti esterrefatti, soprattutto perché ha ottenuto lo scopo prefisso.
E non solo! La soluzione di "legare" lo pneumatico con "fascette elettriche", non solo ha tenuto per tutta la tappa del giorno successivo, ma gli ha anche permesso di arrivare al secondo posto nella tappa del giorno!
Ma il suo segreto é che non erano semplici fascette in plastica quelle utilizzate, ma fascette in inox rivestite in poliestere con bloccaggio a sfera.
Sicuramente potrebbero tornare utili anche in un viaggio-avventura, per riparazioni di emergenza (non per forza alla ruota)
