🇬🇧Many ask me how it is possible to mount the 20 liter tank of the Aprilia Tuareg Rally 125 m.y. 1994 on the Husqvarna TE 610 2005-2010, both with carburetor and electronic injection, as well as on the Husqvarna TE 630.
🇮🇹Questo serbatoio permette di aumentare il raggio di azione nelle zone a scarsa antropizzazione, contenendo i costi. Le soluzioni in commercio offerte da #SafariTank e #IMS infatti sono piuttosto dispendiose, mentre questo serbatoio è facilmente reperibile a cifre che oscillano dai 30 ai 100€.
Inoltre non necessita della sostituzione delle sella.
🇬🇧 This tank allows to increase the range of action in areas with little anthropization, reducing costs. The solutions on the market offered by SafariTank and IMS are in fact quite expensive, while this tank is easily available at figures ranging from 30 to 100 €.
It also does not require the replacement of the saddle.

🇬🇧 To install it on the bike you need to build two supports.
🇮🇹 Uno anteriore che si fissi al telaio nella zona canotto di sterzo e che riproduca l'attacco a "rulli" su cui si incastrano le apposite guide nella parte interna del serbatoio. Questo supporto puó essere costruito in ferro o alluminio, ed é ancorato al telaio tramite la vite di fissaggio anteriore del serbatoio originale e un cavallotto a U che abbraccia il travetto che rinforza il "trave a tubone" nell'attacco al canotto di sterzo. I rulli di attacco possono essere riprodotti facendo passare attraverso questa struttura una sezione di barra filettata da 10mm, rivestita con tubo in pvc, nastro autoagglomerante e, a rifinire il tutto, dei tappi in silicone che normalmente venggono usati sotto le gambe delle sedie.
🇬🇧 A front one which is fixed to the frame in the steering head area and which reproduces the "roller" attachment on which the special guides fit into the internal part of the tank. This support can be made of iron or aluminum, and is anchored to the frame by means of the front fixing screw of the original tank and a U-shaped U-bolt that embraces the beam that reinforces the "tube beam" in the attachment to the steering head. The attachment rollers can be reproduced by passing through this structure a section of 10mm threaded bar, covered with PVC tube, self-amalgamating tape and, to finish the whole, silicone plugs that are normally used under the legs of the chairs.
🇮🇹Un secondo supporto, da fissare alle due piccole "corna" di fissaggio posteriore del serbatoio originale, è una semplice pistra che serve a riprodurre il buco filettato per alloggiare la vite di fissaggio posteriore del serbatoio ex-Aprilia.
🇬🇧 A second support, to be fixed to the two small rear fixing "horns" of the original tank, is a simple plate which serves to reproduce the threaded hole to house the rear fixing screw of the ex-Aprilia tank.
🇮🇹 Inoltre, dal lato sinistro, a riempimento dello spazio lasciato per far correre la pancia dell'espansione dello scarico per il motore 2T della Tuareg, consiglio di interporre uno spessore in gomma, da fissare con delle fascette ai rinforzi dei radiatori che, sebbene questi risultino protetti dagli urti dall'ampio serbatoio, consiglio comunque di montare.
🇬🇧 Furthermore, from the left side, to fill the space left to run the belly of the exhaust expansion for the Tuareg 2-stroke engine, I recommend interposing a rubber shim, to be fixed with clamps to the reinforcements of the radiators which, although these are protected from shocks by the large tank, I still recommend mounting.
🇮🇹Consiglio inoltre di riempire lo spazio che si viene a creare tra il telaio e la parte inferiore del tubone con del materiale che aiuti a supportare il peso del serbatoio pieno, dato che magari con le ripetute sollecitazioni della guida offroad a forte velocitá, potrebbe creparsi. Io ho semplicemente foderato il telaio e il motore con del cellophane, e dopo aver montato il serbatoio, ho spruzzato nello spazio in questione del poliuretano espanso, creando cosí la forma "in negativo" del telaio che resta attaccata al serbatoio. Una volta asciutto il poliuretano puó facilmente essere rifinito con l'ausilio di un cutter.
🇬🇧 I also recommend filling the space that is created between the frame and the lower part of the tube with material that helps to support the weight of the full tank, since perhaps with the repeated stresses of off-road driving at high speed, it could crack. I simply lined the frame and the engine with cellophane, and after mounting the tank, I sprayed polyurethane foam into the space in question, thus creating the "negative" shape of the frame that remains attached to the tank. Once dry, the polyurethane can easily be finished with the help of a cutter.
🇮🇹 Dopo vari test in enduro e ripetuti utilizzi in viaggio in Italia, Marocco e Balcani, per un totale di oltre 10.000km, posso con certezza affermare che non vi sono controindicazioni nell'utilizzo di tutto quanto sopra esposto.
🇬🇧 After various enduro tests and repeated uses on the road in Italy, Morocco and the Balkans, for a total of over 10,000km, I can confidently state that there are no contraindications in using all of the above.

🇮🇹Ovviamente per le versioni a iniezione elettronica dovrá essere installata una pompa esterna, da alloggiare magari proprio in quello spazio tra radiatore e serbatoio in cui io ho inserito lo spessore in gomma.
🇬🇧 Obviously, for the electronic injection versions, an external pump must be installed, to be housed perhaps in that space between the radiator and the tank in which I have inserted the rubber shim.
